Appliances can be large, heavy and expensive. You probably don't have the special tools or expertise needed to fix them in a crisis. If you can spare a few thousand dollars without batting an eyelash for new appliances should they break tomorrow, don't buy a warranty. But if you're like most of us, protect yourself by purchasing inexpensive extended warranties when you buy a new product and save yourself big money in the long run.

Nice features but 0 out of 3 stoves made correctly

It might be nice but who knows, I've bought and returned 3 so far. The first one the burners were so loud that I couldn't even hear my tea kettle whistling. The 2nd and 3rd ones had doors incorrectly installed, with a large gap between the door and the face of the oven, and my professional gas certified installer advised that those stoves should go back. I have serious concerns about Frigidaire quality assurance after this, and their Customer Service is useless (unless you want someone to read you the product manual and if you do, wow is this the company for you!)
